Paret Mar Ivanios Hospital was started on April 15, 1982 under The Blessings And Guidance of His Holiness Marthoma Mathews I, at Puthuppally, Kottayam District. PMI Hospital Is a Multi Specialty Hospital with 50 Beds.

PMI Hospital situated Opposite to St: George Orthodox Church, which Is one Kilometer away from Puthuppally Junction and 9 Kilometers away from Kottayam Town. This Church has now become a place of attraction as the final resting place of the late Chief Minister of Kerala Mr Ooman Chandy.
